84% of CEOs in our study believe that business should lead efforts to define and deliver on future development priorities—but only a third believe business is currently doing enough.
CEOs believe that business should play a leading role in enabling progress against global priorities. Nevertheless, our data suggests a disconnect between CEOs’ perceptions of global progress and their opinion of their own efforts and achievements. CEOs clearly recognize the scale of the global challenge, but may not yet see the urgency or the incentive—or the potential—for their own businesses to do more.
