Life faces less of a challenge than P&C.
P&C insurance, due to the nature of the product, is more vulnerable to customer churn than life—but still 10 percent of life’s longer-term customers are also likely to switch over the coming year. Insurers must look to protecting their customer base, and be positioned to attract dissatisfied customers from other vendors, concludes the 2013 Accenture Consumer-Driven Innovation Survey.
