Understand the vulnerabilities and security threats associated with government technology and mobility to manage them effectively.
As the mobility of today’s workforce continues to grow, the flow of information in and out of the organization via government technology is increasing dramatically and becoming more difficult to control. The mobile workforce’s demand for connectivity is driving profound changes in the way organizations support their employees away from work and on their personal devices. On the other hand, organizations—both private and government—are also expected to develop and support robust and functional mobile device-friendly applications for their employees. This enhanced functionality, coupled with the increased adoption of mobile devices, has also led to the attractiveness of the platform as a target for attackers.
In this video, Sesh Seshagiri, Senior Manager – Accenture Mobility, outlines the risks related to mobility in government technology and the possible vulnerabilities and security threats.
