Phil Fersht, a leading industry analyst, practitioner and advisor in business process outsourcing and IT services, is research director for the analyst firm AMR Research. Fersht interviews Kevin Campbell, Accenture's managing director-Technology Growth Platform, which includes application and infrastructure outsourcing.
In the interview, Campbell argues that no matter how much the industry changes, the common denominator for success is a solid business case backed by a solution that delivers. Campbell sees a bright future for outsourcing as the recession starts to lift and business models undergo fundamental change and new technologies like cloud computing and software as a service take hold.
