Accenture Positioned as a Leader in Finance and Accounting Consulting Services, According to IDC MarketScape Report.
According to IDC analysis and buyer perception, Accenture is an IDC MarketScape leader worldwide in finance and accounting consulting services. The report issued in July 2012 represents IDC's opinion on vendors that are well positioned today through current capabilities and those that are best positioned to gain market share over the next few years.
In naming Accenture as a leader in finance and accounting consulting services, IDC stated: "Accenture offers a broad array of management consulting services and has deep expertise in key industries, helping its clients dig into their issues, explore the opportunities they have, and define outcomes in economic and stakeholder terms that help drive their business forward and deliver results."
IDC noted: “Accenture takes an enterprise wide approach as it helps clients achieve high performance and finance mastery. Accenture's solution delivery is rooted in the company's client experience and backed by proven assets. Accenture works with clients to develop and deliver solutions that can transform an organization's finance management capabilities to achieve enduring value for the enterprise.”
Additionally, IDC remarked: “Accenture's multifunction management consulting is enabled by the firm's other two growth platforms — technology and BPO. Knowledge sharing and resource allocation are strong assets within Accenture, largely driven by the unified construct across all of Accenture's growth platforms. The singular approach makes working with the firm easier for clients and helps strengthen client relationships.”
Regarding its strengths, IDC observed: "Worldwide, Accenture is seen as among the most capable consulting firms at challenging corporate culture, delivering innovation in the project, and leveraging global resources. Accenture is also seen as among the most capable at providing a full spectrum of business consulting services.”
