In this video, Wayne Borchardt, lead-Growth Strategy for Accenture, discusses the key considerations that leading companies need to bear in mind as they begin to strategize for growth in the post-recession economy.
Borchardt observes that achieving growth over a sustained period is not something that the majority of companies achieve. What then are the factors that executives must focus on to achieve the elusive goal of sustained growth? Accenture’s experience indicates that while the old success factors still do apply, there are some important changes. He outlines the five main success factors, and highlights two—the ability to gather and analyze data to develop actionable insights; and the development of an effective and agile business model—as being particularly crucial.
