Among 18 service providers, Accenture emerges as an HR outsourcing front-runner across several key dimensions of Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix.
Everest Group positioned Accenture among the leaders in multi-process human resources outsourcing (MPHRO). Measuring 18 companies against its Performance/Experience/Ability/Knowledge (PEAK) Matrix, Everest Group said Accenture is “striking the right partnerships and developing the right solutions to cater to the market demand.”
Everest Group examined six critical areas to distill its findings—market success, scale, scope, technology capability, delivery footprint and buyer satisfaction—and placed Accenture in the 75th percentile among MPHRO providers. Accenture was the only provider to receive consistently high marks across all six dimensions.

Based on the comprehensive Everest Group PEAK Matrix, each of the 18 MPHRO service providers are segmented into leaders, major contenders and emerging players. The report identifies the 2014 MPHRO Star Performers and provides key insights on individual PEAK Matrix dimensions:
The MPHRO market showed marginal increase in growth in 2013 compared to 2012; moderate number of new deal signings was offset by increase in new deal sizes.
Service providers are back with mega-sized and global deals.
Local players are driving growth in APAC.
Cloud and analytics are becoming increasingly important in MPHRO deals.
Among its high-level findings, Everest Group made the following observations about Accenture’s MPHRO services:
Accenture has experienced "significant success in the last two years in terms of renewals/expansions as well as new deals. It is one of the few providers to have the expertise and experience … to offer multi-tower solutions."
"In the last few years, it has made significant advancements in its analytics, mobile capability, and social media in its HRO solutions and started offering these proactively to its existing clients."
Accenture "clients cite its high service quality, implementation capabilities and relationship management skills as its strengths."
