Helping Schools in Wang Nam Kaew
Accenture Thailand collaborated with the local community in Wang Nam Kaew as part of our corporate citizenship program.
In line with our education development program from previous years, Accenture Thailand contributed financially to impoverished schools Ban Klong Sai and Ban Klong Durian at Wang Nam Keaw this year.

We purchased construction materials and other items to help improve the schools. The Ban Klong Sai kindergarten building has been furnished with stationery sets and learning equipment while the Ban Klong Durian School received complete toilets.

A series of e-postcards with useful tips were sent out weekly. Those tips focused on electricity conservation, paper consumption reduction, waste management and green purchasing.

School Building—Ban Tung Kae, Chiang Mai
Accenture is associated with the Royal Patronage in helping the Border Patrol Police Community. The Border Patrol Police guards a water reserve area that is a significant water source for Thailand. Accenture in Thailand has for three consecutive years built schools for their children. We built the first school, called Ban Rom Pho Thai, in Chiang Rai in fiscal year 2006. The second school was built at Sor Sor Chor Ban Mae Jum Sam, Chiang Mai in fiscal 2007. Again this year, we will build a school called “Ban Tung Kae” in Chiang Mai.
