We deliver cost-effective, high-quality execution through a range of tools, methodologies, global delivery organizations and other assets. The Accenture Delivery Suite for SAP provides a standard approach to delivering a reliable and consistent SAP implementation that is based on our collective experience across the company, as well as specifically delivering more than 1,500 SAP projects a year. We apply our industrialized-delivery approach with the client’s context in mind and to appropriately balance industrialization with customization to create an approach that meets their unique needs.
Innovation to Drive Distinctive Capabilities
We differentiate our SAP offerings by investing in innovation. For us, this means illuminating the ERP landscape and ongoing trends; developing assets that fill the “white space” in the SAP solutions portfolio; and envisioning the next generation of SAP solutions.
Over the last five years, we have invested in a research effort of unprecedented scope in the area of ERP. Combining formal academic analysis with our real life collective experience, it provides actionable insight for clients. Based on the research, we have also developed an ERP Diagnostic Tool, which helps client executives compare their strategy and performance against the research sample. We also share our experiences through publication and industry events. For example, the annual Accenture SAP Leadership Council brings clients and industry luminaries together to share their experiences and best practices.
Accenture has the financial strength and resources to follow through on innovative ideas and is committed to extending and enhancing SAP-based solutions and assets to position clients for future business opportunities. For example, Accenture has developed BPO offerings using SAP applications as a core tool for our solutions. Also, we have committed to working with SAP to extend SAP’s existing trade promotions management (TPM) system to include advanced business analytics and build a market-leading TPM solution.
The Accenture Innovation Centers for SAP are innovation and development hubs, supporting continuous innovation, industrialization and thought leadership around existing and emerging SAP-based technologies.
We are investing in developing promising next generation solutions, particularly around service-oriented architecture, and in building expertise and assets and our alliance with SAP. For example, Accenture is currently the only systems integrator partner working alongside SAP at their MDM Strategic Data Center in Karmiel, Israel. In addition, our foresight and capabilities regarding SAP NetWeaver-enabled composite applications have been recognized by SAP who has awarded us more SAP Pinnacle Awards than any other systems integrator.
Best People and Relationships on a Global Basis

Our people are known for the rigor and honesty with which they approach client challenges—especially in guiding clients through large, complex programs where the stakes for success are very high. Our SAP professionals are motivated to continuously expand their capabilities and SAP has recognized this by awarding twice as many SAP Diamond Circle Awards to our people than any other partner. Selecting the right people from the outset and ensuring we have the quantity and quality of skills and resources to meet client commitments and fast-emerging developments in SAP technology is our most important core investment. In the course of the last two years, we have built our team to 26,500 SAP practitioners globally. We also made a major investment to purchase SAP's Online Knowledge Education Content Library and its entire Global Master Curriculum (GMC) to supplement our already significant investment in SAP training programs. Accenture is the only partner to have reached an agreement with SAP to purchase their GMC material.
We view our three-decade-long relationship with SAP as a key component of our successful delivery of SAP services and solutions. It remains one of our top three strategic alliances and its importance to both companies is underscored by the top management engagement.
