Accenture's sponsorship of the Nationalmuseum first began in 1996. Many of the Museum's collections belonged to King Gustav III, who ordained that the royal collections become the property of the Swedish state after his death. As such, in 1792, the Royal Museum, one of the first public museums in the world, was founded. On the inauguration of the present building in 1866, the name was changed to the Nationalmuseum.
Our sponsorship of the Nationalmuseum is another example of how Accenture collaborates with individuals and organizations to help them achieve high-performance results.
