This is done through a growing number of volunteers, educators, parents and contributors who reach out to these children in their schools. Through a variety of programmes, these children are brought in contact with successful business leaders and engage in exercises that build their awareness of their ability to make meaningful economic input. Accenture helps JAN provide these high-quality supplementary economic education programs by engaging our people in volunteer work for Junior Achievement Nigeria in schools. In addition to this, Junior Achievement Nigeria annually organizes a Run-A-Thon to help raise money for various aspects of its programme for the next financial year. This year, in addition to our participation, Accenture donated 3 million naira to Junior Achievement Nigeria to further boost its implementation of youth programmes.
