Sanjay Jain is the managing director, Accenture Management Consulting in India. After receiving a bachelor's degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and a master's in business administration from the Miami University, United States, he joined Accenture's Cincinnati office in 1986. He returned to India in 1990, where he was instrumental in setting up the Delhi Office. He also served as the country managing director for Accenture in India from 2001 to 2006.
Working with our operating groups, Mr. Jain is responsible for managing Management Consulting resources, overseeing the Management Consulting service lines and driving the market positioning of Accenture's Management Consulting offerings and solutions in India. He is also responsible for scaling the Offshore Management Consulting business.
Mr. Jain has extensive experience of over 23 years in executing a variety of strategic and operational projects. He has worked for clients with different types of ownership patterns, including public sector undertakings, multinational corporations and Indian businesses. His breadth of experience ranges across diverse industries such as engineering and industrial products, metals, automotive, cement, chemicals, FMCG/consumer durables, textiles, paper, pharmaceuticals and airlines.
He has worked extensively on a variety of projects including maximizing shareholder value, strategic business planning, organizational restructuring, business process re-engineering, mergers and acquisitions, change management, information technology strategy/design and build of systems, outsourcing of IT and business processes.
