Rekha is lead for Geographic Services for India & ASEAN and Human Capital & Diversity for India. In her role, Rekha is responsible for human resources and recruitment; human capital and diversity; marketing and communications; finance; procurement; delivery excellence; legal; facilities and services; corporate citizenship and business continuity management.
Rekha joined Accenture in 2004 and was responsible for setting up the Geographic Services operations in India. For two years, she was also the Business Operations lead for India Business, responsible for managing and supporting the growth of Accenture’s India domestic business.
Rekha has 20+ years of industry experience and extensive exposure to setting up and managing corporate functions and business operations in IT and IT-enabled services. She has also been part of executive management teams at Levis Strauss, Akzo Nobel, Cargill Inc. and Talisma Corporation.
A gold medalist from the XLRI School of Business, Rekha has active interests in hiking, long-distance cycling and photography. She is also involved with numerous NGOs, working closely with underprivileged children. She lives in Bangalore with her husband and two children
