Lead–Delivery Centers for Technology in India & Global Lead–Mobilisation & Outsourcing Excellence
Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh is the lead for Accenture’s Delivery Centers for Technology in India and also the Lead for the Mobilisation & Outsourcing Excellence (M&OE) platform for the global Technology Delivery organisation. Prior to assuming his current role, he was the director of Delivery and led Infrastructure Outsourcing Delivery across Accenture Delivery Centers Network in the Asia Pacific (DCN-APAC).
Ghosh joined Accenture in December 2003 and over the past several years he has served Accenture in various capacities. He had a highly successful stint as the India Delivery lead for the Resources and Communications & High Tech operating groups. In this role, he was responsible for all application outsourcing and systems integration projects undertaken at the Delivery Centers for Technology in India for the two operating groups. He was also the lead for Application Outsourcing Delivery team at the Delivery Centers for Technology in India. He was instrumental in building and managing the IT Infrastructure Service Delivery capability for Accenture Delivery Centers in India.
Ghosh has more than 25 years of experience in application and IT infrastructure management, and has worked for several global clients. He specialises in growing and managing large global IT delivery operations.
Before joining Accenture, he was the vice president and head of IT infrastructure management services at Infosys Technologies. Ghosh has also worked extensively with the consumer electronics industry in various senior positions. He has considerable expertise in supply chain management and was among the pioneers of remote infrastructure services in India.
Ghosh is an acknowledged industry expert on IT quality processes. He has extensive experience in implementing IT quality process based on internationally recognised CMM and ITIL frameworks across large delivery operations. He has published several papers in international forums on quality and software engineering.
