In a far-reaching procurement outsourcing arrangement, Deutsche Bank outsourced its entire procure-to-pay process to Accenture. Rapid growth through acquisitions had a negative effect on the bank’s procurement operations, but by providing state-of-the-art systems, tools and processes to manage the procure-to-pay process, Accenture has brought about dramatic improvements and helped Deutsche Bank on its way to high performance.
