Central to the relationship is our Technology Partnership which enables us to use our expertise to deliver a series of technology-led value in kind projects for the RBS 6 Nations.
We will be working with RBS 6 Nations on a range of technology initiatives to help them understand and adapt to the changing needs of its fan-base, in turn providing enhanced audience experiences and interaction with the championship.
RBS 6 Nations Championship App
As Official Technology Partner, Accenture is delighted to bring its mobility expertise to the RBS 6 Nations. For the second year running we have developed and launched the Official RBS 6 Nations mobile App.
The ways in which fans are interacting with rugby is changing, the fan demographic is evolving and supporters are using their mobiles and social media to follow the game and to get involved with the conversation 24/7.
Building on last year’s success, Accenture has enhanced the official mobile app for the 2013 season with the fans’ needs in mind, providing improved audience participation and interaction with the championship. The app covers the whole experience both on and off the field from pre-match build up with all the latest news, line ups and previews, through to experiencing the game live with play-by-play commentary. The app also provides post-match analysis including video highlights, reports and match play data. It also integrates social media channels allowing fans live interaction and all the match gossip.
Supporters can download the app on iPhone and Android, and it is available across the 6 Nations in English, French and Italian.
