Accenture in Australia is proud to announce our new principal sponsorship of The AYO which came into effect on the 1st September 2008.
Accenture and The Australian Youth Orchestra initiated a partnership in 2007. Accenture is now The AYO’s Principle Sponsor, and funds an annual scholarship for an outstanding musician. Accenture is also helping create and implement The AYO Digital Connection Initiative—supporting The AYO’s efforts in revolutionising elite classic music education in Australia. Together we are leveraging new technologies to inspire young musicians to achieve their goals and reach their dreams.
“We are passionate about having a positive impact on the communities in which we operate,” said Jack Percy, country managing director of Accenture in Australia. “What better way to do this than by supporting an organisation such as the Australian Youth Orchestra, whose work inspires talented young Australian musicians by providing the support, training and expertise they need to reach their musical goals.”
The funds provided by Accenture to The AYO under this agreement will help support The AYO’s mission to provide professional leadership and inspiration to young Australian musicians.
