Delivering TPM through a SaaS model allows clients to realize the business value of successful trade promotions while taking advantage of increased speed and agility. Designed for rapid activation and integration, TPM SaaS requires minimal configuration, but still comes with the core functionality that consumer goods companies need – from brand planning and visibility to performance reports and insights.

April 6-8, 2014 | Hyatt Regency Chicago | Chicago, Illinois – The Spring 2014 Promotion Optimization Institute (POI) Summit witnessed an exceptional display of Advanced Analytics Capabilities around a complex data set. The event started with a welcome reception sponsored by Accenture in the evening of April 6. On the following day, Campbell Soup Company and Accenture CAS had a joint speaking slot presenting Campbell's Lessons Learned in Their Trade Optimization Journey. On April 8, Accenture CAS showcased their Accenture CAS Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and Accenture CAS Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) solution during the POI Challenge at the POI Summit. For the challenge, the Accenture team and competitors had been presented with a real-life data set from a masked consumer packaged goods company, to analyze. Using the Accenture CAS TPM/TPO solution, the team achieved an outstanding result: up to 96 percent forecast accuracy across all retailers and measured categories. They also made strategic recommendations such as consolidating promotional activities and reducing the total number of events—leading to a $30 million increase in volume at the same spending levels.
