What is the selection process for Entry Level Hires at Accenture?
It is a three stage recruitment process for Entry Level hires: A) Aptitude Test B) Technical Interview & C) HR Interview. Each stage is an elimination round.
What are the eligibility criteria for Entry Level Hires?
Only BE/B.Tech & MCA students are eligible.
60% and above aggregate (Or an equivalent CGPA) without any standing backlog in Engineering or MCA degree (55% and above aggregate in case of Maharashtra region).
For Foreign nationals - The appropriate type of permit/visa is required to allow you to work in India. The Foreign Nationals should have a PIO/OCI card (or) satisfy the parameters to gain an E-visa. Nepalese nationals do not require any work permit or Visa to work in India.
When do the Entry Level hires get joining dates post selection?
We follow a staggered on-boarding process for Entry Level Hires. The offered candidates are informed about the date and location of joining 15 days prior to the actual date of joining which will be communicated by the on-boarding team.
Will I have the option to select my work location?
We have delivery centers located in all major cities across India including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata & Delhi/NCR. You are requested to provide your 3 primary joining location preferences during the recruitment process. Your location of joining will be mapped in line with your preference vis-à-vis business requirement at the time of joining.
Can I change my personal details like email ID, contact number, location preferences etc which I had given at the time of recruitment?
Yes. You can change your personal details such as e-mail ID, contact number and location preferences etc. by sending a request to email@example.com.
If my joining location is different from my home location, will my travel at the time of joining be reimbursed?
Yes. For Entry Level Hires, the relocation reimbursement is capped at INR 2500 as per policy and the same can be claimed by submitting the actual receipts post joining. Please refer to the compensation annexure attached as part of your offer package for more details.
After being selected at Accenture, if I still have backlogs after last semester, will I still be eligible to join?
As per the eligibility criteria for Entry Level Hires, the offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of the current degree, awarded in the current academic year, with an aggregate of 60% or more (55% and more for students from Maharashtra region) without any standing backlogs.
Will I receive my offer letter immediately if I am selected in the Campus Selection process?
Post completion of campus recruitment process, we will provide a list of final selects to the training and placement cell. Offer letters will be sent to the training and placement cell within 2-3 months post completing the recruitment process. You are requested to collect the offer letter from your training and placement cell.
Do I have to sign any training agreement at the time of joining?
Yes. As per the terms and conditions mentioned in the offer letter, all Entry Level Hires will have to sign a 14 months training and surety agreement. You can refer to the offer letter for more details.
What are the mandatory documents I should bring at the time of joining?
The following documents are mandatory at the time of joining:
a. Two copies of your recent passport size photographs
b. Two original copies of offer letter
c. Photocopies of Degree/PG (as applicable) certificates
d. Photocopies of mark sheets of all semester.
e. Passport copy, if available (if not please apply immediately) or any other government ID proof
f. Photocopy of the Pan Card or acknowledgment in case, PAN card is still not being issued
Do we have a training program for Entry Level Hires?
Yes. On joining the Company, an Accenture specific training program (Green Field Training) will be conducted for duration of about 3 months on the specific skill set assigned. Periodic tests will be conducted throughout this training program which all Entry Level Hires are expected to clear as per the standard process and applicable cut-offs communicated. Entry Level Hires are required to score minimum 60% marks in each test to qualify the Accenture specific training program. If they are unable to complete the Accenture specific training program successfully, their services with the Company may be terminated.
If I am interested in working for a specific skill set post training, will I have the option to select it?
Post completion of training for Entry Level Hires, the projects and skill sets are allocated centrally by the Resource Management team based on business requirements.
What will be the probation period?
The probation period for Entry Level Hires is 12 months from the date of joining.
Is there any course/certification that I can undergo till I receive my joining date?
We do not mandate any specific course/certificate for Entry Level Hires before joining the company. All Entry Level hires will go through an Accenture specific training program called Green Field training (GFT) for duration of 3 months on the specific skill set assigned to each person.
If I have an offer from another company, will I be allowed to take part in your campus recruitment drive?
Yes, provided you meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned above for Entry Level Hires. It is further subjected to business requirements at any given point in time.
If I am not selected in the Campus drive, can I re-apply?
Yes, as per policy, you can re-apply after 6 months from the date you last attended the entry level hiring process.
Are overseas opportunities available?
Yes. It is further subjected to business/project requirements.
Does Accenture provide internships for freshers?
Yes. We have an Internship Program for Entry Level Hires called "Head Start Internship Program". This program is applicable only to Accenture Campus Selects from specific colleges.
