Networking

Sea CityA cornerstone of the Accenture Global Convergence Forum is one-to-one networking between peers.

To provide an ideal opportunity for this interaction, programs were offered on the afternoon of the second day of the Forum. Delegates and guests were invited to choose their preferred activity when they completed the online registration form. Following programs were organized.

Globo TV Network Studio Tour

Globo is currently the largest commercial television network of Latin America and the third largest in the world. It is composed of 122 owned and affiliate television stations and two international networks. A limited number of guests participated in a behind-the-scenes tour of their production studios, known as Projac.

Golf Outing

Guests tested their skill at one of the most challenging and picturesque golf courses in Brazil, the Itanhangá Golf Club in Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the top private clubs in the country, with privileged views of Pedra da Gávea and Tijuca Forest, two of Rio’s most beautiful landscapes.

Sailing

The best way to view the beauty of Rio’s skyline is a leisurely water cruise. Guests boarded a private vessel with an experienced captain and crew that cruised around the gorgeous waterways of Guanabara Bay. Participants saw the spectacular skyline of downtown, the towering Sugarloaf Mountain, and the neighboring bay’s islands and forts.

Jeep Tour to Corcovado

Guests took a ride in an open air jeep and enjoyed all the beauty and nature Rio has to offer. They visited Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, home to numerous tropical animals and exotic birds. The tour ended at Corcovado, where participants were driven to the top of the mountain to spend time taking photos of the Christ the Redeemer statue.
