Accenture’s alliance with SAP spans more than three decades, including collaboration across all industries and over 20 years of joint-solution development with SAP and clients. At Accenture we have two Innovation Centers for SAP focused on such development. The Accenture Innovation Center for SAP in Heidelberg-Walldorf and Accenture Innovation Center for SAP in Bangalore are innovation and development hubs, supporting continuous innovation, industrialization and thought leadership around existing and emerging SAP-based technologies. As well as new and cutting-edge research and asset development, the centers work with clients to develop client-specific solutions (such as SOA-based solutions) and are an innovation hub for learning, modeling and developing new SAP technologies. One way they achieve this is creating development and technology and architecture templates. The centers are an integrated part of our Innovation Network, working in close collaboration with the Accenture Technology Labs, Global Delivery Network, Centers of Excellence and Industry Solution Centers. Part of Accenture’s differentiated approach to delivering SAP-based solutions and services is bringing innovation to clients to drive distinctive capabilities. We have a strong history in developing innovative solutions for clients, most recently in using standards-based technologies such as Web Services and service-oriented architectures to open up new ways for organizations to increase speed to market, enhance flexibility and improve performance. These ideas often come from client ideas as well as being created by our Innovation Centers for SAP or through our Innovation Network. The Vision-to-Value Workshops offer executives the opportunity to collaborate on these visions, facilitating discussions on how SAP-based solutions can realize specific client value. Clients can also use these workshops to identify SAP-based solutions they can implement quickly for a clear business outcome. Clients are encouraged to use these workshops as a starting point when thinking about business transformation and value realization to explore how SAP-based Accenture solutions can deliver high performance in industry-specific scenarios.
