
The Information Technology Acquisition Center within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Procurement Operations has established DHS department-wide contracts for information technology support services under the program name Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE). The EAGLE program supports the DHS goal of a functionally integrated department, demanding integrated methods of operation among and between the various components with the IT support systems that enhance effectiveness and create economies of scale through consolidation. EAGLE provides for a wide range of IT service solutions for DHS through five comprehensive functional service categories (FC). Accenture was awarded two functional categories: - (FC4) Software Development—Includes a full range of software design; development; implementation and integration; concept development; planning; requirements definition and analysis; systems design and development; coding and testing; production; deployment; implementation; integration; and software application maintenance.
- (FC5) Management Support Services—Includes a full range of business and technical management services impacting all areas of IT policy and planning, including enterprise architecture; security; training; enterprise resource management; business process reengineering; IT transformation and strategy; organizational change leadership; and enterprise and program management office support (e.g., business case development and performance management).
