Research Interests
Human Computer Interaction, biometrics, computer vision and neural networks. Recent Projects Augmented Coordination and Communication Tools (ACCT) Applications are used to create artifacts, but fail to capture the context and the process in which the artifact was created or revised. ACCT is an infrastructure for capturing and attaching context to artifacts across complex workflows. This context helps enhance coordination, thereby allowing for tasks to be performed with greater efficiency.
General Purpose Programming on the Graphics Processing Unit Over the years, the graphics processing unit (GPU) has evolved into a massively parallel processor with a flexible programming model. The project aims to explore the use of GPUs to more efficiently perform general purpose computation. Applications developed include a high-speed skin color detection system and a system for implementing the AES encryption and decryption on the GPU.
Interactive Wall High-resolution interactive touch system that allows people to visualize and interact with large amounts of data from disparate data sources.
