 Cyrille Bataller heads the development group at Accenture Technology Labs in Sophia Antipolis, France and is Accenture's leading expert in the field of biometrics. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping government organizations achieve high performance through technology innovation, with a particular focus on biometric identity management.
His recent projects include developing Accenture Travel Security Services—a biometric identity management solution, which was piloted in the miSense trial at London's Heathrow Airport.
Before that, Mr. Bataller defined Accenture's point of view on the future of identity management, led the development of Accenture's technology vision for government, and investigated how technology innovation can help bridge the digital divide. He says working to improve the way people work and live through technology innovation is what he finds most satisfying about his job.
Mr. Bataller is a frequent speaker at industry events on the topics of biometrics, public safety, border control and immigration and aviation security.
