NEMBES — Networked embedded systems that form networks of distributed intelligence from the local scale to massively networked systems, such as urban smart spaces and intelligent transportation systems. DESNA — Model-driven development environment for wireless sensor network applications and in particular context-aware global supply chains. Aithne — Middleware architecture to support the construction of applications from large collections of collaborating sensor-rich computational devices in application areas ranging from environmental monitoring and control, to smart spaces and to personal healthcare.
