For the sixth year in a row, Accenture has been selected as one of Working Mother magazine’s 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers. The 100 Best Companies list recognizes leading-edge companies that demonstrate commitment and support to their people through their programs, policies and resources. In honoring Accenture, Working Mother highlighted these accomplishments:
- Opportunities for flexibility: With a range of flexible work arrangements, many Accenture people can customize their work schedules for better work/life balance. Through compressed work weeks, the 3-4-5 program or other varieties of flexible schedules, US employees can often find ways to juggle the competing demands of work and personal life. In addition to daily flexibility, Accenture also offers career flexibility.
- Future Leave: The Future Leave program offers employees a short-term (up to three months), unpaid break from work to spend time on personal priorities. This career flexibility program is featured as a leading best practice within the top 100 companies on the Working Mother list. Future Leave has also received two prestigious national awards for visionary excellence and has been featured in numerous media articles.
- On/Off Ramps: Through the Flexible Transitions program, employees can stay connected to Accenture while on a leave of absence. Employees can choose to receive monthly communications with information about resources to support them while they are away. They can also attend meetings and company events, and they are encouraged to keep in contact with their career counselors as they prepare to return to work.
- Developing Leaders: Accenture continues to lead the way in leadership development. Accenture’s company-wide talent management programs enable female executives to receive the extra mentoring they need to achieve their career goals.
This award celebrates Accenture’s progress and motivates the company to keep working to enhance and increase the work/life resources Accenture offers to its people. |
