Accenture partnered with the mint to develop the infrastructure that would meet legislative requirements for information authenticity, confidentiality, integrity, availability, and maintenance. Implemented a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) system—technology that secures electronic data transmissions—using multiple certification levels for tighter security. Developed security models, policies, processes, and workflows for the new system and put them in action through a series of pilot applications throughout the country. Helped develop the country's Digital Signature Act in collaboration with the client—legislation which gained legal standing for the new system. Result: A security infrastructure that protects data communications and a government-sponsored National Certification Authority that meets legislative requirements. Next: High Performance Delivered |
