Accenture celebrates the fourteenth year of its unique relationship with Williams F1 in 2008—one of the longest-standing sponsorships in Formula One. During this time, the team has won the Formula One World Drivers' Championship twice and the Constructors' Championship three times.
Accenture is an offical partner and sponsor of AT&T Williams. Accenture’s role is to focus on issues of primary concern to the team's senior management, helping them employ innovative ideas and technology to become a high-performance business. Formula One teams face constant evolving challenges: new sporting rules, changes to technical regulations and financial pressures. They need to be nimble, flexible, innovative and committed to achieve continued success in this environment. Accenture has worked with Williams F1 since 1995, helping the team equip all the areas of its business and operations to meet these challenges. And just as the race team needs to maintain high levels of performance, the Williams F1 business needs to be focused to ensure that the whole organization is prepared to continually rise to the evolving challenges on the track. Formula One is all about high performance and precision—from the performance of the car and the driver's handling of it, to the calibration of the engine, to the aerodynamics of the bodywork—hence the team's operations are constantly tuned and developed. Accenture has helped the team achieve a similar level of rigorous precision in its business operations to achieve high performance.
