At Accenture we believe in giving something back. One aspect of our community programme is our grant-making to charities and other nonprofit organisations around the world. In addition to this, we offer our employees the chance to participate in tax-effective giving through our payroll schemes.
Our giving is guided by our community objectives that aim to promote positive social transformation by targeted giving to community organisations. There are a number of ways of giving within Accenture, all with the common feature that they are employee driven. Ways of Giving: The Accenture UK Foundation A local giving budget distributed amongst every Accenture country to support local corporate citizenship activities. In the United Kingdom, this money is proportioned by the Accenture UK Foundation, a United Kingdom-registered charity that donates up to half a million pounds a year. Criteria for funding are aligned with our core community goals of breaking cycles of deprivation by supporting the development of skills for better futures. Beneficiaries include: Bright Ideas Trust, Community Links, De Paul Trust, Kids Company, The Prince's Trust, UK Youth, Springboard, Fairbridge in Greater Manchester and the North East.
