 Ms Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1985. Upon graduation, she joined IBM Singapore, and in 1988 joined Accenture in Singapore.
In her tenure with Accenture Ms Teo has worked with clients across various industries—including financial services, government, consumer goods, retail, communications and electronics and high tech—in consulting engagements. These client engagements have also given Ms Teo the opportunity to work in locations outside of Singapore on an extended basis, including stints in France, Korea, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Her more recent clients include StarHub, DBS Bank and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. Today, in addition to the her Country Managing Director role, Ms Teo is the Managing Director for Accenture’s Customer Relationship Management practice service line across the Asia Pacific region—a practice group which helps our clients achieve high performance in Sales, Marketing and Customer Service—and is a US$320 million business in the Asia Pacific region. This service line spans the geographies of Japan, Korea, Greater China, ASEAN, Australia and India. In 2006, Ms Teo relocated to Shanghai, where she has spent the last 2 years establishing Accenture’s CRM practice in China. She returned to Singapore in December 2007 to assume the additional role of Country Managing Director of Accenture in Singapore. |
