The Asian Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA) Special School is the adopted charity of Accenture's Singapore office. The AWWA Special School was established in 1979 and specializes in physiotherapy and education for children with multiple disabilities. It provides for their play activities as well.
Accenture’s Corporate Citizenship committee regularly organizes activities such as “Casual Week” whereby employees make a donation to dress down at work. These proceeds will help to fund the outings which Accenture will organize for the children from the AWWA School. At the Accenture Champion of Champions Pro-Am Charity Golf Tournament in 2009, Accenture raised S$8,600 for the AWWA School. |
