Accenture takes corporate citizenship seriously, and encourages positive relationships with stakeholders and effective contributions to the community. Being a good corporate citizen is an inherent part of how we do business. We see it as an important way to build positive relationships with all our stakeholders to create powerful lasting change. It is expected of any high-performance business and is especially important to one that operates globally.
Our approach to corporate citizenship reflects our business vision, our Code of Business Ethics and our six core values. We seek to play a full, relevant and positive role in society, as a good corporate citizen, to understand the impact of our actions on all our clients, employees and the broader community, and we build mutually beneficial relationships with them. Furthermore, we are passionate about making positive contributions to the communities where we operate. We have illustrated this in our Corporate Citizenship Review. This gives examples of our corporate community involvement, including our giving and pro bono work, the partnerships we establish, and employee volunteering, as well as our programs for inclusion and diversity and the environment. Our Values Accenture maintains high ethical standards in our dealings with clients and business partners, and makes decisions that factor in our principles of good corporate citizenship first and foremost. Accenture is grounded in a set of core values which represent our fundamental beliefs as an organization. They guide the way we work with clients and each other. Our ongoing commitment to these values is necessary to ensure that we operate with the highest ethical standards and achieve our vision. Accenture Charity Foundation at Tereza Maxova Foundation On August 23rd, we signed a contract with Tereza Maxova Foundation that provides a basis for efficient cooperation starting on September 1, 2007, with a desire to continue in further years. Tereza Maxova Foundation established the Accenture Fund of Tereza Maxova Foundation, Accenture being the exclusive partner of this Fund. Effective March 2008 Accenture became a member of The Donator Club and a member of the Czech Donors Forum.
Our Goal is
- to be, as a company, a responsible and dignified corporate citizen of the Czech Republic, and to be publicly perceived as such,
- to help people in the Czech Republic who are in need financially and also, if possible, by sharing with them our skills,
- to utilize existing experience and initiatives of Accenture people in the field of charity,
- to synergize through the integration of the contributions of the Company and the contributions of individuals and achieve the best results.
With this goal in mind, the Tereza Maxova Foundation was chosen as the preferred partner to make these things happen. The mission of Tereza Maxova Foundation is: „to deal with the issue of abandoned children who are growing up outside of the natural environment of their biological family”. No doubt, these children need significant help to enable them, in the end, to become normal citizens living normal lives. To Top |
