The Czech Republic practice was established in Prague in 1991 and the Outsourcing Centre in 2001. By the middle of 2007, it had grown to over 2,000 local personnel across all 3 divisions.

 

Tailored for the Czech market, we provide numerous services such as business integration, including strategy formation, management consulting, re-engineering of business processes, implementation of information systems, organization and human performance and outsourcing services.

 

Since its formation, the Prague-based office has worked with companies from all parts of the Czech Republic in helping them transform their business capabilities. Accomplishments in the Czech Republic—One Example

 

Komercni banka cooperates with Accenture in various areas. The cooperation is focused mainly on the implementation of contemporary processes and technologies.

 

Komercni banka cooperated significantly with us after its separation from a former state bank and its transition to a standard commercial bank. We have assisted with the overall change of technical infrastructure which included, among other things, new central banking system implementation and with the definition of main business processes.

 

Komercni banka also cooperated with Accenture in the area of increasing the management control effectiveness. The effort resulted in developing a system for measuring the profitability of bank dealings, which enables Komercni banka to execute strategic plans effectively and to identify potential areas for further development.

 

We have helped Komercni banka build a modern integrated dealing system. The system implementation was accompanied by the reengineering of business processes, especially those for dealing support, risk management, performance measurement and trade settlement.

 

A common endeavor has also focused on building modern distribution channels. Development in this area should enable Komercni banka to accrue substantial competitive advantages and acquire a wider spectrum of clients while reducing the cost for serving them.
