Bill Morris leads Accenture in Canada. He is responsible for driving the growth of its Management Consulting, Systems Integration and Technology and Outsourcing businesses across all industries and governments. Bill has more than 24 years of experience working on technology consulting, business transformation and outsourcing initiatives. Under Bill's leadership, Accenture's Canadian business is one of its fastest growing globally with almost 5,000 employees from coast to coast.
In 2003, Bill helped conceive and create Accenture Business Services for Utilities, the largest provider of outsourced customer care, technology and business services to utilities in North America. Bill also leads Accenture Business Services for Utilities and is responsible for its more than 2,500 employees and operations.
To bolster Accenture's capabilities as a strategic, value-based partner, Bill sponsored the creation of a new internal workforce for technology solutions delivery as well as the local presence of Avanade—a joint technology solutions venture with Microsoft. These two units grew from zero to hundreds of employees in a short time, offering flexible, cost-effective technology and delivery options for Canadian businesses. As a responsible corporate citizen, Bill is working to increase Accenture's positive impact on the communities that its employees live and work in. He is a member of Accenture's internal Corporate Citizenship Council, which is focused on supporting employee involvement in a variety of charitable activities and other local initiatives across the country. Bill was born in Boston and raised in Nova Scotia. He attended Acadia University and Queen's University and joined Accenture in 1982 after graduation. An avid skier, sailor, mountain-biker and explorer of the great outdoors, Bill supports and contributes to sustainable development and environmental protection and is a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. Bill lives in Montreal with his wife and children.  To Top
