After a close evaluation of Accenture's offerings and capabilities, IDC has positioned Accenture as a Leader across three recently published IDC MarketScapes –
Accenture was recognized as a Leader for Smart Manufacturing Production Management, Asset Management and Quality Management. The research conducted by IDC evaluated 11 vendors in the Production Management and Asset Management categories and 10 vendors in the Quality Management category who provide services horizontally across the Smart Manufacturing value chain, from product development to service.
The IDC MarketScape highlighted the following Accenture strengths:
- According to the three IDC MarketScape reports, “Customers appreciated Accenture's vast knowledge and expertise, its global network of skilled professionals, and its ability to manage complex projects from start to finish, while keeping the big picture in mind. The company's ability to integrate a vast array of solutions and power the results with advanced technologies such as AI makes Accenture capable of complex, visionary deployments.”
- The report also noted, “Accenture is a good fit for multinational companies that need an end-to-end approach for their factory networks; that are managing a complex, operationally diverse factory footprint of various levels of maturity; and that need innovation to ensure operational excellence in terms of production, capital projects, robotics, and the Future of Work.”
